Carrie Underwood has given birth to her second child, a boy, with her husband Mike Fisher. Underwood announced the arrival of her new son Jacob Bryan Fisher and shared the first photos of the little guy on her Instagram. “Jacob Bryan Fisher entered the world in the wee hours of the morning on Monday…his mom, dad and big brother couldn’t be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle!” she wrote. “Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good…”
This is Underwood and Fisher’s second baby boy. The couple also has a three-year-old son Isaiah, who was born on February 27, 2015.
Underwood announced her second pregnancy in August last year. “Mike, Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another fish to our pond,” the singer told fans in a video she posted to Twitter.
The country singer spoke before about suffering three miscarriages from 2017 to 2018 on CBS Sunday Morning this past September, as People reports. In coping with them, Underwood said she counted her blessings. “My son, Isaiah, is the sweetest thing,” she said. “And he’s the best thing in the world. And I’m like, ‘If we can never have any other kids, that’s okay, because he’s amazing.’ And I have this amazing life. Like, really, what can I complain about? I can’t. I have an incredible husband, incredible friends, an incredible job, an incredible kid. Can I be mad? No.”
