Chrissy Teigenn and John Legend may make beautiful babies, but don’t expect them to have another in the near future. In a post on Instagram showing Teigen with her two children, Luna and Miles, a fan commented saying what many of us are thinking.
“I think you can fit one more little one on the end,” they wrote adding a winking emoji.
However, Teigen shut down any hope of that happening…at least for a little while.
“All good!” she wrote. “Gonna try to wait a few years before trying again. These guys are exhausting!”
Teigen has been open about her trouble with conceiving and her experience with postpartum depression. In an interview with The Cut, Teigen was candid about using IVF.
“You know, we did IVF and it’s kind of crazy because even though you do all this planning and preparation, you take progesterone and inject your body and do all this stuff—and when I finally did get pregnant I was like, ‘Oh crap, are we ready?’” she said. “I think it kind of doesn’t matter whether you do all that preparation or whether it’s a surprise. You still wonder if you’re ready. But then you hear from enough people that you’re never really ready, and you just go for it.”
As for the postpartum depression, Teigen admits it was a surprise, but wasn’t worried about it for her second pregnancy with Miles.
“The depression thing came out of nowhere!” she said. “And I will say, I’m not even worried about it for this time—because I know what to expect at least.”
And whenever she Teigen and Legend decide to have another, she’ll be more than ready.
