It’s been a tough few weeks for Game of Thrones fans following the eighth and final season of the hit HBO drama, whose series finale left many fans miffed and petitioning for an extra season to give the show a proper departure. But no one is taking the end of GoT harder than the Jonas Brothers.
In a hilarious behind-the-scenes video for the band’s new Harper’s Bazaar cover, Nick Jonas describes the cover story’s fashion looks as a mix between summer and winter (he’s literally wearing a black fur coat) before Kevin interjects and makes the now-famous GoT reference “Winter is coming.” This didn’t sit too well with Joe, who broke down in tears and stormed off the set. “What did I say about making Game of Thrones references in front of Joe,” Nick scolded Kevin, who responded, “Not today.”
As the photographer continued to shoot the band, Joe is still visibly shaken up and upset about the end of the series and disassociates himself from the rest of the guys throughout the photoshoot. Kevin, on the other hand, keeps quoting lines from the show and Nick has seemingly picked up a sword addiction (?).
Towards the end of the video, Nick and Kevin set out to search for their brother and find Joe in a bathtub binge-watching Game of Thrones with a bunch of tear-filled napkins resting on his chest. When Nick tries to apologize for Kevin’s insensitivity, Joe flips the bird at his brothers and goes back to watching Thrones.
