Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin committed to spending the rest of their lives with each other, legally speaking, back in September during that secret courthouse wedding. Now, at long last, the Biebers have committed to a date for their second, religious wedding—the one for family and friends! Page Six reports the Biebers have sent Save the Date invitations with February 28 chosen as the day.
The outlet added that their wedding party is “already being styled,” and dancers(!!!) “are already in rehearsals.” Page Six also noted that Bieber’s personal DJ Tay James has been tapped to perform at their nuptials, wherever they are. No location was specified on their invitation.
Baldwin did tell The Cut back in September though that she envisioned her dream wedding being small and in a forest somewhere, ideally on the West Coast, although reports before suggested the two could just have the wedding at Bieber’s new Waterloo mansion in Canada.
“I just picture lights strung everywhere,” Baldwin told The Cut of her dream decor. “I think having it in the woods would be so beautiful.” The Biebers have been spending a lot of time in Los Angeles right now, so a California wedding is a real possibility.
The Biebers’ wedding date news comes after People reported last week that they initially planned to have their wedding in January but ultimately hadn’t decided on a date yet. “They’ve been figuring out the perfect time to do it, and they both feel like the sooner, the better,” a source close to Bieber told the outlet. “They’re working with the schedules of all their friends and family to make sure they can be surrounded by the people they love. There’s no real rush. They’re already legally married, but they’re very excited about throwing a celebration with their loved ones.”
