Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Have Reportedly Named Their Dog With a Special Meaning

New dog parents Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently adopted a black Labrador Retriever puppy together (ugh, how much cuter can they get) and have settled on a name for their four-legged friend, according to the Sun.

Royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith revealed that the dog has been named Oz, which is honestly adorable and may be a sly reference to a big step in their marriage. The Daily Mirror pointed out that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will soon be embarking on their first tour as husband and wife, with one of their stops being Australia.

Australia was also a destination for Harry’s parents Prince Charles and Princess Diana on their first royal tour. There aren’t any official dates for Meghan and Harry’s Australian visit yet, but it will be during the Invictus Games in Sydney from October 20 to 27.
