Noah Centineo, America’s new 22-year-old heartthrob, is not dating his taken To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before costar Lana Condor, or anyone he’s willing to talk or tweet about for that matter. But he did basically mark off one group of eligible people: superfans. He told E! News that he probably isn’t interested in being with someone already obsessed with him.

“I don’t close any doors totally, but probably not because then it’s like more of a infatuation with like, a position [of being Centineo’s significant other] more than like, the person,” he said. “It can overshadow that, which is difficult, I would think.” Disappointing news, sure, but give Centineo credit for being thoughtful, emotionally-mature, and honest about it.
