Meghan Markle is a woman of many talents: acting, getting puppies adopted, and apparently making some bomb Sunday brunch.
While hosting her friend and makeup artist Daniel Martin at Kensington Palace, the Duchess of Sussex served up an old California classic—smashed avocado on wheat.
“Back to our Tig days…❤️,” Daniel captioned the shot. “Thank you Meghan for being the consummate hostess this weekend and still being the #avocadotoast whisperer, YUM!”
Before she became a royal, Meghan ran a food and lifestyle blog called The Tig. It’s inactive now, but the Duchess used to write about health-conscious meals, wellness, and some of her favorite fashion and beauty items. While she might be offline now, healthy eating is still very much at the center of Meghan’s life. The Duchess’ first official philanthropic project since becoming a royal was helping to launch a charity cookbook, and it’s been reported that she completely transformed Prince Harry’s diet (for the better) when they started dating.
