In case you haven’t heard the news, let me *spice* up your Saturday by informing you that the Spice Girls are officially banding together for a reunion tour (!!!).

There’s just one little caveat—Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) won’t be joining Baby, Scary, Sporty, and Ginger on stage. Why? It could be a conflict of scheduling, but it could also be that the Spice Girls literally FORGOT to invite her (and her little Gucci dress).

During a recent appearance on The Johnathan Ross show in the UK, the Spice Girls (sans Posh) revealed that after years of Beckham declining their proposals to rejoin the group, they couldn’t remember if they’d actually extended a formal invitation this time around.

“It’s actually quite funny, I saw Victoria recently and you know, obviously we’ve all been in contact, she’s still very much a part of the Spice Girls,” Melanie C (Sporty Spice) begins. “But she did raise the point that she was never actually asked…because we just presumed.”

“We care about each other, we support each other, and we support her…So it’s all good.”

“I spoke to her two days ago before the announcement and…she’s said for years that she just doesn’t want to do it anymore,” Geri Halliwell (Ginger spice) chimed in. “She’s busy with her fashion, she’s moved on. But the philosophy for us lot is that we’re a band on and off the stage and we care about each other, we support each other, and we support her…So it’s all good.”

Happy to here that all is well in Spice World! Watch the girls’ full interview below.
