Rihanna Showed Up in an Alexandre Vauthier Leopard Ruffle Mini Dress for Beyoncé’s Oscars After Party

Rihanna spent Oscars night at one of the most prestigious parties in Los Angeles: Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s Gold Party at Chateau Marmont. How does one dress to party with Queen Bey? If you’re Rihanna, you choose one of the most dramatic mini dresses of all of Oscars night: a ruffly leopard number from Alexandre Vauthier. RiRi was photographed leaving the party in it.

Us Weekly got some detail on what the ultra-private party was like. Every single person at it had to be deemed worthy to go by Bey and Jay-Z. “The guest list was all approved by Beyoncé and Jay-Z personally,” a source explained to the outlet. “They asked everyone not to post pictures from inside. They wanted the environment to feel safe for everyone, so everyone could actually just be themselves and let loose.”

So if you were not on the list, you were not getting in. “Security at the front door was very tight and only pre-approved guests could get inside,” the source continued. “If a celeb brought an assistant or security that was not announced, they were not allowed to come in.”

At the party, RiRi was joined by friend and once-rumored fling Leonardo DiCaprio, Emilia Clarke, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, and more. Her billionaire boyfriend Hassan Jameel was not photographed with her, but at a party that exclusive and secret, it’s not out of the question he could’ve quietly been there, too. Regardless, he and Rihanna just had a public date last week, so they’re going strong.

Bey and Jay-Z’s party is just two years old. Before that party existed, Rihanna had never been photographed at an Oscars party—not even the heavily-attended Vanity Fair Oscars bash.
